Get the Dirt on Real Estate Gift Baskets
by
Flora M. Brown, Ph.D.
The boom in real estate motivated more realtors to give gift baskets to thank their customers upon closing, to thank clients for referrals and to thank the agencies they count on to complete their intricate transactions. Evven though Here are some gift basket theme ideas that have worked for me.
I have shopped for inventory in wholesale and retail markets over the past 16 years. Some vendors are no longer in business or no longer carry the same stock. On occasion I buy clearance or closeout items that are no longer even manufactured. Therefore, use these ideas as starters, rather than try to duplicate them to the “T.” For ideas on finding products in your area, get my CD, “How to Find Products In and Around Your State.”
Naming each design helps the client recognize its purpose and use. My containers often double as functional household and office items. The retail value was determined by tripling the wholesale costs. The contents are the gift and gourmet items that were placed in the container. Most of these designs were shrinkwrapped. To learn how to shrinkwrap your designs, get my DVD, “Basic Gift Basket Design.”
